Numbers 15:31-Because he has despised the LORD's word and broken his commands, that person must surely be cut off; his guilt remains on him.
In John 2:12 - 25, Jesus cleared the temple court and said he was going to destroy it and build it back up again in three days. This is an example of God's word. He is disappointed and angry about how the men turned his Father's house into a market. So he told them to destroy the temple and he gave his word to build it back up in three days which is te amount of time he was resurected from the grave. When you follow God's word then you will be directed to the light and if you don't you could be lost in the darkness with no guidence from God.
